About Me
I am a Philosopher of Technology who works on the interplay between Cities, Technologies, and Human self-understanding. My current projects are centred around the following topics:
- Measuring and mapping cities
- Urban design
- Urban resilience
I am a co-director of the international Philosophy of the City research group.
I am an associate editor of the Journal of Human-Technology Relations (focus: urban design), a member of the advisory board of the Philosophy of the City journal, and a convener of the Design Research Society's Design Ethics SIG.

Education
I am the programme director of Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Society (MSc PSTS) as well as a member of the management team of the REflection on Science Technology and Society (RESTS) education.
I supervised thesis projects on the following topics for our PSTS master:
